What is an astrological reading?

Your natal astrology chart is like a photograph of the universe taken the moment you were born. It describes where the planetary bodies were in relation to your position on Earth, where the horizon and midheaven and in what Zodiac sign. It's your unique treasure map, or blueprint and learning to understand it gives you a chance to navigate your life with more information, awareness and hopefully, excitement! Each piece of the natal chart represents something about you and your life, but when you first see a natal chart it can be as confusing as a picture-less menu in a high end restaurant, written in a language you've not learned yet.


Here is where the astrologer comes in - an astrological reading is like a cross between a mystery unfolding in front of your eyes with you as the central character, and a coaching session where you can choose what areas of your life you want to understand more and focus on.

During your consultation, I will take you through key elements of your chart, interpreting the symbols, positions and relation of them to your life. I created "Over the Moon astrology" because I want you to take something useful from the reading, which gives your the edge and awareness to your unfolding life. There are no solid predictions - I am not in the business of saying "Beware! A sudden and hideous accident will befall you on Tuesday" because that's simply not helpful, and nor might it be true. A better statement would be "there's a wave of surprising, fast moving fire-like energy combining with your natural energetic physical nature on Tuesday... so whatever you're doing, have fun but watch where you're going!"


I am unlikely to provide you with "yes" or "no" answers because in the words of Aristotle "Astra inclinit, sed non obligant" - "the stars incline, they do not compel". You will always have the choice of how you unfold your story, I just give you the insight to what you will be able to use most effectively for your personal circumstances. My astrology readings are like a weather forecast for the universe. I can tell you there's a 60% precipation coverage in your area and it's then it's up to you whether you take an umbrella or go singing in the rain.


Once the reading is booked, I calculate 3 charts, focusing on the natal chart. I interpret key points from the natal chart, then move on to predictive forecasting using currently planetary transits and secondary progressions. This background preparation will take approximately 90 mins.
